About PSA Panama

PSA Panama is a strategically located container terminal at the Pacific entrance of the Panama Canal, playing a key role in global trade connectivity. With 1,140 meters of quay, 11 quay cranes, and state-of-the-art specialized equipment, our terminal has an annual handling capacity of 2 million TEUs, positioning itself as a benchmark in efficiency, advanced technology, and port modernization in Panama.

Our impact goes beyond port operations. We generate over 900 direct jobs and 100 indirect ones, driving the country’s economic development and contributing to the modernization of its logistics infrastructure.

Our History

In 2007, PSA International made a visionary decision by building its first port in the Americas, selecting Panama as the ideal location for this ambitious project. Its strategic position at the Pacific entrance of the Panama Canal presented a unique opportunity to connect global markets and strengthen international maritime trade.
